If you're dreaming of a romantic engagement session that includes both stunning photos and cinematic video, Elizabeth & Langston’s engagement session at Kingwood Center Gardens in Mansfield, Ohio is all the inspiration you need. This elegant spring day in May gave us blooming gardens, golden light, and so many meaningful moments to capture — all on both photo and video.
At Stories Forever Weddings, we specialize in telling love stories through engagement photography and videography, and Kingwood Center Gardens is one of our favorite venues in Ohio for both. With elegant architecture, perfectly curated gardens, and indoor greenhouse spaces, it’s the kind of place that adds timeless beauty and variety to your story.

We met Elizabeth and Langston outside of the ballroom, where we were greeted with warm golden sun, lush flowerbeds, and a charming fountain in the background — a dream setting for both photo and engagement video. Elizabeth wore a flowing purple dress, which added a soft pop of color against the classic garden backdrop, while Langston wore a tailored suit, bringing elegance and polish to the visuals. The footage we captured here is full of warmth, emotion, and connection — the kind of moments that come to life beautifully in video.

As we moved further into the gardens, we were greeted by every spring flower imaginable. Kingwood Center Gardens is an absolute dream for spring engagement sessions. The mix of colors and textures gave us endless opportunities to capture vibrant images and soft, romantic video clips of Elizabeth and Langston walking hand in hand, laughing, and simply enjoying each other in a magical setting.

One of the best-kept secrets of Kingwood Center Gardens is their beautiful greenhouses — and yes, there’s more than one! These bright, plant-filled spaces are ideal if rain makes an appearance on your session day. Fortunately, we had sunshine, but we still made time to shoot inside one of the greenhouses, and the results were incredible. These spaces give you that outdoor look with indoor reliability, which is perfect for both photography and videography. From romantic clips of Elizabeth brushing her hand along the leaves to quiet moments between the two of them, the video and photo content from this part of their engagement session added richness and variety to their story.

Elizabeth and Langston also wanted to highlight their careers — a fun and personal detail we were so excited to include. She put on a hard hat, and he stepped into his white coat, making it instantly clear what paths they’ve each worked hard to pursue. These moments felt so authentic and were a great reminder that your engagement session should reflect your unique journey together.

For their final look, Elizabeth changed into a white dress with soft floral accents, which paired perfectly with the elegance of the Kingwood Mansion. This historic estate is a stunning feature of the grounds — its stately steps, stone facade, and gardens give it a timeless charm. The video shots here were especially moving: twirls, embraces, and slow walks all captured in this luxurious setting. If you’re looking for a venue that offers both natural and architectural beauty, Kingwood Center Gardens checks every box.

And Then… A Peacock Appeared
Just as we were finishing up and reflecting on the perfect day, a peacock casually wandered into view — the kind of whimsical, unexpected moment that makes this location so unforgettable. We caught it on both photo and video, and it was the most fitting and fun way to end the session.
