Maggie and Jacob’s engagement session felt like coming home. It was a celebration of love roots and the kind of connection that stays steady no matter how many places life takes you. Ohio holds a special place in their hearts. Even though life has taken them to many different places it will always be home. Because of that they knew they wanted their engagement session to reflect roots familiarity and meaning. Choosing a bicentennial barn felt like the perfect way to honor that connection to Ohio history while also grounding their story in a place that felt true to them.

From the very beginning this session was filled with laughter and movement. Maggie and Jacob have a natural chemistry that brings so much joy to be around. Their energy is infectious and fun yet there is also a softness between them that feels deeply romantic. The way they laugh together lean into each other and share quiet moments in between shows just how strong their bond is.

Being outdoors is something they love and it showed in every part of the session. Surrounded by open land fresh air and the character of the barn they felt completely in their element. Nothing felt forced. It was simply them enjoying time together doing what they love in a place that matters.

As their engagement session came to an end the rain began to fall and instead of rushing away they embraced it. The rain added a beautiful unexpected ending to the evening and felt like such a perfect metaphor for their relationship.
